We are currently seeking a Data & Analytics Sr. Prin. Consultant to join our team in Barreal, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).

Data & Analytics Engineer JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT The Data & Analytics Engineer will enable analytics and reporting through the use of the data foundation and digital core competency. In this role, you will leverage the core capabilities of business intelligence, data engineering and information products to enable timely, accurate and actionable insights to the teams. You will be a key partner to deliver the final information products that enable business value.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Partner collaboratively with data business analysts and subject matter experts to understand data needs.
  • Prepare data to meet specific reporting and analytics needs.
  • Build data sets to enable functional requirements for reporting and analytics use cases.
  • Model, design, develop, test and implement moderately complex back end and front end structures to meet business visualization, reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Assess and monitor the performance of processes, services and outcomes and support access to data assets.
  • Creates reports, dashboards and visualizations according to business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of directly related work experience
  • Proven experience in ETL processes, extracting data from multiple sources such as Excel, relational databases, APIs, and others using languages such as Python and SQL
  • Proven experience improving the quality of the data using Python
  • Proven experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience using source control tools, preferably Git
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and relationships and influencing others
  • Result orientation and ability to work in ambiguous situations where requirements are not clear

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or similar
